As a church we believe that being immersed within our community is critical. We are providing chaplains to sporting clubs, schools, hospitals and police which are all opportunities to contribute to the fabric of our Shire by serving in any given arena. Whether it be tongs in hand at the footy club BBQ or sitting with teenagers in custody, we have a role to play in being present, available and willing to serve our community at any opportunity.
There is a Chaplaincy Network Hub that meets quarterly to connect, equip, support, recruit, train and place chaplains in all avenues of chaplaincy. This Network is open to all chaplains and churches in the Sutherland Shire.
